Day 27 - Alterac

As we journey through the shattered remnants of Terenas' last alliance I am constantly perplexed by the scattering of human villages and encampments clinging desperately to life beneath the shadow of the Undercity and the plague-blighted lands of the North. Why do they linger on? What vain hope compels them to remain? Here on the borders of what was once the Kingdom of Alterac is a perfect example: A human outpost devoted to funneling supplies to the Stormpike Dwarves. These human guardians cannot possibly be content with their duty. As little as I tend to fancy myself as benevolent or generous, I cannot help but think that we are doing them a favor in dismantling their outpost altogether.
